About the event
Drop in anytime. Everyone is welcome. It's completely free.
Come if you're just curious and want to see what we're up to; come and use our tools to recycle plastic into something you can take home; come and chat; come and be creative; come and drop off some plastic waste for us to use.
We'll be fusing soft plastic packaging together using an iron to make a sheet of strong, lightweight colourful "plastic fabric" - making use of all the patterns and text. We'll then be turning the fabric into wallets and purses using hand tools.
This workshop is part of the Fun Places event so there will be lots more happening in the library for you to try out as well.
