We are currently collecting:

Plastic lids: only HDPE -Type 2, LDPE -Type 4 and PP - Type 5

Soft stretchy plastic packaging: LDPE-Type 4

Vinyl banners: PVC -Type 3

WASH
We can't recycle dirty plastic! Any dirt gets transferred to the new recycled product making it a bit gross and not nice to use!

Unfortunately any dirty donations will be thrown away, as we don't have the time or man power to clean our donations!

SORT
Did you know plastic lids can be made from several different types of plastic? As if recycling wasn't complicated enough! If you are able to sort your plastic by type that will help us in the recycling process. The same types of plastic can be shredded and melted together again. But some types of plastic won't melt well with others and will cause recycled products to break.
